Claire's first slumber party

Last night, Claire went to my sister's house for her first sleepover with another little girl - her sweet cousin Katelyn. I dropped her off after dinner, and she just couldn't wait to go. She's had many sleepovers away from home (with Mommy and Daddy and/or at her Nana's house), but this was her first "slumber party" with another child. Here she is ready to go with her sleeping bag in hand!



She and Katelyn just love each other and are so excited when the other is around. I look forward to them being great friends as they grow up!



The girls slept on the floor in their sleeping bags and all I heard about this morning was how Trusty (their dog) slept with her (and licked her!). We don't have a dog, so Claire has always been obsessed with theirs and was delighted to get to sleep with him. She didn't even pull her lovie out of the bag last night!
