Family birthday brunch

We had a few family members over for brunch today to celebrate Claire's birthday. She spent the night with Nana last night, so everything was ready when she got home this morning! I made a cake and we had ham rolls, cheese/bacon souffles, tomato bacon cups, sausage pinwheels, and fruit. Ok, so I know my cake isn't the magnificent creation it could be, but that's something I'm working toward as I get more practice. I bake a lot, but this is only my second "birthday cake." It tasted yummy and Claire loved it - and that's what matters! She had a ball spending time with some of her family today!
