Are you married?

Claire has become very interested recently in marriage. She is always wanting to know if this person and that person are married and giggles when she talks of mommy and daddy being married. She told her daddy the other day that she wanted a kiss, and when he gave her one, she said,"No, kiss me like you kiss mommy." Daddy said that we kiss differently because we are married.....and she just laughed. Not sure what she means by that statement anyway...I mean we're not really into PDA! Now that she knows the story of how Chris gave me my engagement/wedding rings, she likes to put them on my finger and say, "will you marry me?" She also says that some of her animals are married now. Hopefully this phase will pass soon - otherwise I may be having some very complicated conversations with this curious little four-year-old!
