I can't keep up!

Wow, Ava has really blossomed in the past few weeks! In this short period of time, she has started to sit up from lying on her tummy and begun to crawl a little. She's also said ma-ma and da-da a few times and is starting to try and pull herself up (although she can't quite do it alone just yet). I feel like sometimes she'll go a while without anything new to report, and then all of a sudden she does several new things. Her recent mobility has really changed my world! I am used to her being stationary and even though she has been rolling around, she wasn't able to get to things as quickly as she can now. Just today, she managed to get her hands on one of Claire's crackers while I was up throwing something in the garbage and stuck the entire thing in her mouth. I'm really going to have to be on my toes and get busy baby-proofing! Ready or not!

I'm thinking this one might be my girly-girl. She's very into jewelry and shoes. She can spot them a mile away and goes right for them!

My favorite thing she's doing now - eating finger foods. She prefers it over baby food hands down. I prefer it over the spitting when I try to feed her some of her least favorite pureed vegetables.
My least favorite thing she's doing now - crying when you walk away and she can't see you, and when you put her in bed. Claire never really did that, so it's a pretty new thing for me!
